Staff
Majapahit Beach Villas have a dedicated team of 34 staff who oversee all four villas. A thorough and professional training programme ensures that all staff are exceptionally well-qualified and always ready to do their utmost to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Full-time manager
- Akmal is Majapahit Beach Villas’ full-time manager. His job is to oversee and coordinate the staff and property and to assist guests during their stay. He is on call 24 hours a day. He has been with the villas for six years and before that was the front-of-house manager at the prestigious Amanwana Resort in Sumbawa.
- Full-time chef/cook
- Nurdin is also Amanwana alumni and will prepare daily breakfast, lunch and dinner, according to the wishes and whims of his guests. He has also worked for Novotel and the Oberoi Lombok so knows his way around a kitchen like the back of his hand. Everything is his specialty!
- Butlers
- The impeccably trained butlers are on hand to attend to guests’ every need, including serving food and beverages at mealtimes, snacks, afternoon tea, cocktails and drinks throughout the day and evening.
- Housekeepers
- Majapahit’s housekeepers attend to daily cleaning and domestic duties across the four villas.
- Gardener/pool attendants
- A team of five gardeners tends the gardens and pools at Majapahit Beach Villas. They work discreetly to maintain high standards without disturbing the guests.
- Spa staff/masseuses
- Two on-site, fully-trained spa staff provide a range of in-villa spa and massage treatments on request (at extra cost).
- Security
- Majapahit Beach Villas are kept safe and secure 24 hours a day by five security guards.
- Maintenance
- Two experienced staff work in shifts to make sure the mechanical aspects of the villa run smoothly and that the lights and air conditioning are always in good order.
- Admin
- One staff member keeps things ticking over in the front office. Need to send a fax? Kadek’s your girl.
- Driver
- Each villa has a dedicated car and driver available for up to eight hours per day at extra cost. Additional transport can be organised at extra cost.
